I don’t smoke and only eat edibles on the med side with that being said I can be a difficult customer wanting very specific products but Alex always take care of me and makes sure I get my meds.  Been going here for 2 years n Alex always gives the best customer service been to multiple dispensary n he is very knowledgeable about product which is a big deal. I have been to many dispensaries in aurora , denver , boulder, golden, etc. Ive seen my fair share of good bud tenders and friendly staff. All I have to say to that is these people at alternative medicine, have absolutely made me feel like family since I started coming there a year ago. Many times have I walked in there in a terrible mood and left in a much better mood. They show great love and hospitality and deserve business.As their product is insane as well. If you're looking for good stuff, they got your back, if you're looking for a deal, they got some pretty great stuff for that as well. Definitely check it out, it's worth the trip. The short answer is yes. Colorado considers marijuana legal for recreational use by all adults older than 20 and for those 18 and older for medical use. In South Denver, adults cannot consume marijuana in public, but they can in private or at one of the area’s licensed marijuana hospitality businesses, or licensed retail marijuana hospitality and sales businesses.

First Time Visiting a Dispensary in Colorado?

First-time visitors to a Colorado pot shop need to understand a few things before you go. First, you will need a state-issued ID that proves you are old enough to enter the dispensary, which is at least 21 for recreational and 18 for medical marijuana. Cash is always the best form of payment, but for your convenience, we also accept credit and debit cards. We do charge a nominal 4% transaction fee for those cards.

How much weed can I buy during my visit?

Colorado limits daily purchase amounts for retail at 1 ounce of flower, 8 grams of concentrate or 800 milligrams of edibles. The daily purchase limits for medical cannabis are 2 ounces of flower, 20,000 milligrams for edibles, 8 grams of concentrate for patients over the age of 20 and 2 grams of concentrate for those ages18 to 20.
